when i download something how do i save it to C:\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads, like do i click on the my documents thing, then click ea games, then double click sims2, or what do i do to save it?

Just download it to your desktop and double-click on it. It'll do all the rest. Pending on what you download, take it out of the Zip first.
